The purpose of limiting feeding is to control the overweight of ducks during the rearing period. If the weight of the duck population is low, feeding cannot be restricted and nutrient intake should be increased. Methods for limiting feeding include daily quantitative feeding and feeding every other day. The daily feeding amount should be determined according to the size of the duck, and the nutrient level of the feed can also be used to limit the feeding purpose. In the rearing period, ducks fed a compound feed with a protein content of 14% had no adverse effect on egg production performance. However, when the protein content of formulated feed is less than 14%, egg production in future ducks may be affected. The following points should be noted when restricting feeding during the rearing of ducks and ducks:
1. There are enough food troughs. Ample troughs must be prepared so that each duck can feed at the same time, which is of great importance in maintaining the uniformity of the duck population.

4. Reduce stress. When the ducks are vaccinated, transferred, diseased, or in other stress conditions, feed nutrition should be strengthened and feed supplemented to improve the health of the duck population.
