Cross-use pesticides are used

What are the cross-use modes of agricultural pesticide use? Experts believe that there are four common modes of pesticide crossover:

1. Cross-use between bio-sourced pesticides, mineral-originated pesticides, and organic synthetic pesticides. For the control of cabbage caterpillars on Chinese cabbage production, Bt emulsion, rattan extract, diflubenzuron, permanthrin and trichlorfon can be used interchangeably.

2. The use of protective agents and internal absorbents. For example, for the downy mildew of vegetables, pesticides to be used before and after the onset of disease should be different and need to be used interchangeably.

3. Cross-use of sprays and fumigation agents. In ensuring the normal production of vegetables, we should be good at using the characteristics of good confinedness of greenhouses and plastic sheds. In addition to the commonly used spray methods, we can use cross-cutting methods of smoking.

4. Cross-use of other types of agents. When pesticides are used, the stem and leaf treatments of pesticides are used in cross-over with soil treatments; insecticides without ovicidal activity are used in cross-over with ovicides.

The rational use of mixed pesticides can save manpower and time, but also achieve the purpose of concurrent treatment, increase efficiency and delay drug resistance.

At the same time, however, Zou Zhirong reminded the growers that the pesticide mix should be based on the combination of physical and chemical properties that will not destroy the original physical and chemical properties, and the prevention and control effects will not interfere or increase. When using pesticides in combination, it should be noted that fungi-based biological pesticides and chemical fungicides cannot be used together; organophosphorus pesticides, pyrethroid insecticides, and dithiocarbamate fungicides cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides; similar in nature Pesticides cannot be mixed.
