Wheat harvester feeds unevenly for mash

In the wheat harvester, “feed unevenness” often occurs during the operation. The phenomenon of “non-uniform feeding” means that the crop fed to the barrel by the inclined feed chamber of the combine cannot be kept continuously and evenly. The phenomenon of less side-by-side, also known as "feeding into groups." This phenomenon can affect the normal operation of the combine harvester. The inclined feed chamber and the threshing cylinder will cause blockage due to the feeding of the crops. The threshed stalks will “skew” and move on the scriptwriter key surface. The grain is difficult to separate from the stem, increasing the loss of the cleanup. After jamming, the operator needs to clear the jammed crop. If the cause of uneven feeding is not eliminated, it will cause new blockages, which will prevent the harvester from working properly. When the crop entering the inclined feeding room is on one side with fewer sides, the feed chain will be skewed due to the difference in resistance. Affect normal work.

One, feed uneven reasons

1. The position of the reel is too far away from the feeder to feed the auger. The cut crop cannot be stirred in a timely manner and the feed is uneven due to the blocking of the integrated cluster.

2. Improper adjustment, such as the gap between the header feed agitator and the bottom plate of the header is greater than 10 mm. Due to uneven wear of spiral blades fed by augers for most combine harvesters, the amount of wear on the middle section of the feed inlet is greater than on both sides. Inadequate adjustments, the distance between the middle section of the agitator blade and the bottom plate is too large. The crop must be stacked to a certain thickness before it can be fed into the feeding chain by the feeding auger, resulting in a feeding feed; if the cutting table is fed into the auger When the leaves are high on one side, the crops entering the feed chain will be on one side of the other, resulting in deflection or blockage of the feed chain.

3. The distance between the feed chain and the telescoping tip is too far away, and the crop enters the feed chain with a certain thickness at the feed inlet.

4. Lodging or moisture in the crop is also an important cause of uneven feeding.

Second, eliminate the uneven feeding method

1. Correctly adjust the front and rear position of the reel. If the reel does not touch the knife, the reel should be moved as far as possible.

2. Repair the header and feed the apron blades to restore their height to normal.

3. Adjust the height of the auger feeding the header to make the blades 10 mm from the floor.

4. The feed chain is advanced by the drum or the head is fed back into the auger so that the distance between the feed chain and the telescopic tip is maintained between 10 and 15 mm.

5. Adjust the header feeding auger safety clutch. The length of its spring should be suitable, when the feed resistance is too large, it can be separated in time to avoid blocking of the feeding chain and the roller.
