Cage free feeding high-yielding fish culture technology

In recent years, aquaculture farms in Binhai County, Jiangsu Province, have introduced a unique fish farming method known as "net cage breeding without feeding." This innovative approach has significantly boosted yields and efficiency. By avoiding the use of artificial feed and eliminating the need for medication throughout the entire growing cycle, this system offers low investment, reduced risk, and stable returns. Fish are raised at lower stocking densities, which leads to fewer diseases and higher survival rates—over 98% in most cases. The only time fish are lost is during the initial stocking process, not during the growth phase. Each net cage produces more than 2,000 yuan in revenue, with profits exceeding 1,000 yuan per unit. The input-output ratio is approximately 1:2, making it a highly profitable enterprise. Moreover, the fish produced are free from pollution, offering high-quality meat that is highly sought after by consumers. These fish can be sold at prices up to 200% higher than conventionally farmed fish. This technique is versatile and can be applied wherever suitable water conditions exist. It's a promising model for other farmers to consider and adopt. First, selecting the right water area is crucial. Ideal locations include rivers, reservoirs, or ponds covering around 100 acres with fresh, unpolluted water and rich nutrients. Since no artificial feed is used, the natural bait in the water must be abundant. Water sources near pesticide factories or paper mills should be avoided due to potential contamination. Second, the cage structure is designed using polyethylene knot nets measuring 5m x 5m x 2.5m, with mesh sizes between 3-4 cm. The cages are hexagonal and closed with lids for better protection. The frame is made of four bamboo poles, each 6 meters long and at least 5 cm in diameter, forming a 6-square-meter float rack. Third, the cages are secured using 4cm-diameter polyethylene cables stretched across the water surface. Two ropes spaced 6.5 meters apart form a group, with 15–20 meters between groups. Cages are placed between the cables, spaced 5 meters apart. They should be installed one week before stocking to allow the netting to settle, preventing damage to the fish’s skin and scales when they are introduced. Fourth, cages are arranged in leeward, sunny areas. They are staggered on the water surface in a grid or plum-like pattern. The density depends on water quality, typically 1 cage per 200 square meters of water. Fifth, fish species such as flower carp and white amur are stocked in a ratio of 3:7. Small batfish may also be included. Fish are usually 50–100 grams in size, with a stocking density of 60–70 per square meter. Before stocking, fish are bathed in saltwater with a concentration of 40–50 g/L for 5–10 minutes. This helps reduce stress and prevent disease. The bathing can be done in a canvas bucket or a covered container. Lastly, daily management includes removing debris that accumulates on the nets or cage lids, which can interfere with water flow and fish movement. After storms or heavy rain, the cages may become distorted, so cable tension must be adjusted regularly to maintain optimal shape and function. Algae buildup on the netting should also be cleaned periodically—once every 15–20 days using a bamboo pole or hand-washing. These practices ensure clean, well-functioning cages and healthy fish growth.

Virus Specimen Collection Tube

Inspection principle:
It can perform protein denaturation on fresh clinical virus samples to inactivate the virus, prevent secondary transmission of infection, and ensure the safety of transportation and testing personnel.
♣.Structural composition: Combination of cotton swab and transport medium (VTM).
♣. Product requirements:
The product should be airtight, avoid high temperature, avoid direct sunlight storage. It should be used in a clean, hygienic, pollution-free, and temperature-friendly environment.
♣, Storage conditions and validity period:
â‘ , the product should be stored in a clean, dry and ventilated environment,
②, the temperature is 5℃-35℃;
â‘¢, relative humidity <85%RH;
â‘£, product shelf life: 12 months.
♣. How to use
â‘  Before sampling, mark relevant information on the label of the sampling tube.
â‘¡. Sampling with the corresponding cotton swabs.
â‘¢ After the collection is completed, quickly put the cotton swab into the collection tube, break the part higher than the sampling tube, and tighten the tube cover.
â‘£. For the specific sampling method, please refer to the following:
a) Nasal swab Gently insert the sampling head into the nasal cavity, stop for a while and then slowly rotate to exit, immerse the collected specimen in the Xiangxiang solution, break the excess part and discard it, and tighten the sampling tube cover.
b) Pharyngeal swab: Wipe bilateral pharyngeal tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall with the sampling head, immerse the collected specimen in the sampling solution, break off the excess part and discard it, and tighten the cap of the sampling tube.
c), Mycoplasma Chlamydia, Ureaplasma specimen collection
Male: Insert the sampling head into the urethra about 2cm and rotate, stay for a while and then exit, and immerse the collected specimen in the sampling solution.
Female: Wipe the mucus of the cervical orifice, insert the sampling tip into the cervical canal for 1-2 cm for sampling, immerse the collected specimen in the sampling solution, break off the excess part and discard it, and tighten the cap of the sampling tube.
♣. Precautions
1. After the virus is collected, the disposable sampling swab should be completely inserted into the preservation solution, so that the virus can be retained to the greatest extent possible.
â‘¡ The collected specimens must be sent for inspection in time.
â‘¢. It is forbidden to use products with damaged packaging and expired validity period to prevent pollution.
This single-use Virus Sampling Tube is used for in vitro diagnosis. It cannot be used for human or animal oral or external use. If swallowed, it may cause serious events; it is irritating to eyes and skin. If it is not splashed into the eyes, rinse with water.
