With the advancement of large-scale, intensive, and efficient agriculture, plant protection equipment has become increasingly essential. To make the most of the 3HH-36 stretcher-type high-efficiency motorized sprayer, it's important to follow these key maintenance and operational guidelines during daily use.
First, always assemble the machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Check that all components are correctly positioned, tighten all bolts securely, ensure the belts and pulleys move smoothly, and confirm that the protective cover is intact and functioning properly.
Second, add the appropriate lubricant to the crankcase as specified on the label, ensuring the oil level is correct. After each use, check the oil level and top it up if necessary, following the guidelines for the gasoline engine.
Third, start the engine as outlined in the manual. Let it run at a low speed for 10–15 minutes. If there is no water leakage and no unusual noises, gradually increase the speed to the rated RPM. Then, press the pressure relief handle and slowly turn the pressure regulator wheel clockwise to build up pressure until it reaches the desired working range (typically 2.5–3.5 MPa), then secure the nut in place.
Fourth, keep the plunger pump grease cup fully filled with grease. Rotate the grease cup down 2–3 times every two hours to maintain proper lubrication.
Fifth, after completing daily tasks, continue spraying water for 2–5 minutes under pressure to flush out any remaining liquid from the pump and pipes. This helps prevent corrosion caused by residual chemicals inside the system.
Sixth, remove the water filter and spray hose, open the water valve, press the pressure relief handle, and loosen the pressure regulator. Turn the engine or pump manually to release any trapped water, and clean the unit’s surface thoroughly.
Seventh, regularly replace the engine and piston pump crankcase oil as recommended in the manual. If the crankcase becomes excessively dirty, clean it with diesel before adding fresh oil.
Eighth, at the end of the season, when storing the machine for an extended period, drain all water from the pump to avoid corrosion and freezing damage. Remove and clean the V-belt, spray gun, hose, mixer, and strainer, then air dry them and store them in a safe place. Also, empty the fuel and oil from the gasoline engine to prevent degradation.
Ninth, never operate the liquid pump without sufficient liquid, as this can damage the V-shaped seal and plunger, especially during startup or when moving the machine.
Tenth, always set the pressure relief handle to the relief position when turning the machine on or off to protect the internal components and ensure safe operation.
By following these steps, you can extend the life of your sprayer, improve its performance, and ensure safe and efficient use throughout the growing season.
