It has been determined that the transparency of the same measuring point in the morning (8:00) and afternoon (14:00) can generally differ by 5-15 cm. Due to the influence of wind, the phytoplankton and suspended organic matter in the water were blown down the pond, so the feng shui was thicker, the transparency became smaller, the feng shui became clearer, and the transparency increased. At winds of 3- to 4-level, the transparency of the pool downwind generally varies by 5–20 cm. The degree of transparency of pool water not only directly affects the photosynthesis of phytoplankton in the water, but also roughly represents the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water, the amount of plankton, and the fatness of the water. Therefore, the quality of pond water can be judged according to the degree of transparency and daily changes, and the changes of the upper and lower winds. If the transparency of fertilizers is between 25 and 40 cm, the daily changes and changes in levels (changes in up and downwinds) are large, indicating that the pools are moderate in dissolved oxygen, and there are many algae that are easily digested by fish. If the transparency is too large, it means that there is less biomass in the water, and the water is too thin, which is not conducive to the growth of the filter-feeding fish. If the transparency is too small, it indicates that the organic matter in the water is too much, the water-consuming oxygen factor in the pool water is too much, and the water temperature and dissolved oxygen in the upper and lower water layers are different. Water quality is prone to deterioration. Only acquainted with the principle of “transparency” of water, the majority of aquaculture producers can regulate the pool water in a timely and reasonable manner, thus laying a foundation for increasing fishery yields.
