Faced with this worldwide problem, 31 scientists from Guangdong and Hong Kong have jointly tackled the problem and made a major breakthrough in the near future. On April 14, 2007, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Jinan University jointly established the “Reproductive Medicine Joint Laboratoryâ€. After the establishment of the joint laboratory, the team formed by the two schools developed a natural medicine that can effectively treat coronary heart disease. This natural drug is ideally tested in a small number of patients with coronary heart disease or myocardial infarction, including patients from the Mainland and Hong Kong, Canada and the United States.
