Purchase piglets of 15-20 kg and raise them for about 100 days. Their weights reach the standard of 90-100 kg. Rapid fattening of pigs must be based on eight key technical points:

First, eliminate good poison

Disinfection is the best way to prevent disease, and it must be disinfected thoroughly.

Before entering the column, in addition to doing a good job of cold, heat insulation, ventilation, lighting, drainage, moisture, cleaning, and removal of fecal debris, the focus is to use 20% lime water suspension or 20% bleach. The liquid is thoroughly disinfected.

Second, choose a good seedling

The choice of piglets determines the growth of pigs to a certain extent, and the selection of high-quality pigs will yield greater benefits.

Choose piglet filling, choose binary hybrid pigs from breeds or pick the best “Du Changda” ternary hybrid lean piglets; choose from the group to meet the standard and uniform size of piglets; Choose a strong, lively and long-lived pig with a deep mouth and four feet, a thin white hair, a round body, and a food-shifting foot.

Third, the formula

The formula of pig feed should be nutritionally comprehensive. It should be supplemented as much as possible to ensure the effect of fattening, and it should be done without waste. It is important to understand the nutrient requirements of the pig growth cycle.

The feed formula should be based on the nutritional requirements of different stages of pig growth, 20-35 kg, 3100-3200 kcal per kg of feed; 17-18% crude protein; 35-60 kg, 2900 digestible energy per kg of feed ―3000 kcal, crude protein 14-15%; 60-90 kg, digestible energy per kilogram of feed 2900-3000 kcal, crude protein 13-14%.

Fourth, drive insects

Pigs are relatively easy to contact with parasites, and regular deworming is necessary.

Pigs often touch the ground, plus feeding raw materials, susceptible to parasites, affecting pig development, weight gain, and serious death. Therefore, the purchased piglets must be dewormed in vivo. The anthelmintic drug can be selected from levamisole hydrochloride, 8 mg per kilogram of body weight, or 0.1 mg per kilogram of body weight, and mixed into the feed. The dose must be accurate to prevent poisoning.

Five, healthy stomach

Nutrient digestion and absorption is the key to fattening. Try to regulate the body function of the pig itself, instead of using hormones or additives to attract pigs to eat.

After the pigs were dewormed, each piglet was given 10 grams of soda tablets. In the morning, it was mixed with the feed to feed the stomach. After two days, each piglet was fed with 5 grams of rhubarb soda tablets.

Six, a good needle

Good anti-epidemic work can greatly save the cost of treatment.

When the pigs entered the column, they observed that they were disease-free for 7 days. The pigs were injected with the swine fever vaccine for the first time, and the pigs were orally administered with piglet paratyphoid vaccine.

In another 7 days, if the pig has no problem, the pig will be injected with pig erysipelas and pig lung epidemic vaccine for the second time.

After another 7 days, if the pigs did not respond, the pigs were given a third injection of Streptococcus suis. The injection and oral administration of the vaccine are strictly in accordance with the instructions on the label.

Seven, go to good momentum

After the castration, there will be a phenomenon of "blessing", which is conducive to fattening.

Male sows used for fattening need to be castrated at the right time. After the piglet is castrated, the temperament becomes docile, promotes appetite, increases the rate of weight gain, and improves the quality of the meat. Small boars should generally be castrated during the prosperous period before male characteristics (such as climbing). The gilts should be castrated after sexual maturity, the first estrus.

Eight, timely good bar

The time of the slaughter is generally selected at the end of the pig's long meat peak, which is the most economical.

It is uneconomical for pigs to raise more than 100 kilograms. Judging from the developmental rules of pigs, the early growth is fast and the daily gains reach a peak. After the peak period, the weight gain decreased, and then the growth was slow and even stagnated. When the fattening pig weighs more than 100 kilograms, not only does the feed return decrease, but the energy required to survive is greatly increased. Generally speaking, it is most suitable for slaughtering pigs with a live weight of about 100 kg. The slaughter rate is up to 75%, the net meat rate is 66%, and the economic benefits are good.
