Pollution-free apple pest control

March 1 (Dormancy Period): During the dormancy period, it's crucial to manage diseases such as ring rot, cankers, and other branch diseases, as well as overwintering pests like lice, fleas, and mites. Begin by removing old, rough bark and treating any diseased or damaged areas. Prune affected shoots and clear fallen leaves from the orchard. Apply a diluted solution of 9281 or a strong ring pattern net (5–10 times dilution) to help prevent disease spread. For severe infestations of locusts, spray 40% emulsifiable concentrate at 1,500 times dilution, followed by wiping with oil at the same concentration. To enhance absorption, consider adding Jinyuan brand penetration agents. Late March to Mid-April (Before Flowering): This is an important time for preventing diseases such as ring rot, root rot, and powdery mildew, as well as controlling overwintering pests like cockroaches and aphids. It’s also essential to address physiological issues like leaf curl, fruit shrinkage, and bitter pit. Spray a mixture of Li Ribar (50–80 times dilution), strong ring pattern net (30–50 times), or a 5-degree lime sulfur solution. Apply 20% triadimefon EC at 1,500 times dilution. Use 40% annihilation emulsion at 1,500 times or 25% diflubenzuron at 1,500 times. Ensure thorough coverage on main branches and lesions, and check roots and trunks to prevent root rot. Mid-May (Flowering): Focus on preventing fungal heart rot, ring rot, spotted defoliation, and bitter bean disease, while managing pests like jaundice, cottonseed worms, and leaf rollers. Spray 10% wettable powder or 6% DTPA at 3,000 times dilution. Combine 30% mothite ling at 1,500 times with 70% ketamine at 800 times. Use 1.5% polyoxin at 300–500 times or 10% Polyana at 1,200 times mixed with 70% thiophanate-methyl at 800 times. Apply ammoniacal calcium or amino acid calcium at 400 times. Remove weeds like leeks and apply two or more compound fertilizers containing amino acids or life sources. Late May to Early June (Fruit Set): Prevent fruit and leaf diseases, and control Lepidoptera pests such as Astragalus, cotton bollworms, and leaf rollers. Spray 80% wettable powder at 800 times, Dasheng M-45 at 800 times, or 50% acetamiprid at 1,000–1,500 times. Use Xin eugenol or diflubenzuron No. 3 at 1,500 times, or moth albuginea at 2,000 times. Apply 40% annihilating emulsion at 1,500 times for apple aphids. Diflubenzuron No. 3 is effective against Prunus maculata eggs. Avoid using tyranny for Astragalus. Mid-June to Early July: Control diseases like ringworm, spotted defoliation, and fruit/leaf diseases, along with Lepidoptera pests such as Astragalus, cotton bollworms, and leaf rollers. Bag fruits 35–40 days after bloom and again 10–15 days later. Before bagging, spray 800 times solution of carbendazim or 600 times of 50% wettable powder. After bagging, use 1:2:200 Bordeaux mixture. Apply Qiqisu, Xinyou EC, diflubenzuron, avermectin, or Bt as needed. Use Dasheng or 800 times of spray grams, which can be used interchangeably with mancozeb plus polyoxin. Only use Bordeaux mixture or green copper milk for plastic-bagged apples, and limit lime to no more than 2.5 applications. Mid-July to Early August: Continue prevention of fruit and leaf diseases, as well as control of caterpillars and other Lepidoptera pests. Spray 12% green milk emulsion at 600 times or 1:3:200 Bordeaux mixture alternately with Puff-M800. Reapply 1.5% polyoxin at 300–500 times for spotted defoliation. Use diflubenzuron No. 3, Bt, or abamectin. Avoid using doxorubicin with Bordeaux mixture. Late August: Focus on fruit and leaf disease prevention and control of various Lepidoptera pests. Spray 12% green milk emulsion at 600–800 times or 1:2.5:200 Bordeaux mixture, alternating with Puff-M800. Apply 1–2 sprays of octyl urea EC or diflubenzuron No. 3, Bt, or abamectin. Use 30% mothraxine at 2,000 times. Avoid harmful substances and ensure Bordeaux mixture is sprayed three times in June, July, and August. September to October: Control fruit diseases and pre-harvest fruit drop, as well as rot. Spray 70% chlorpromazine or carbendazim at 800–1,000 times, or mildew clear at 800–1,000 times. Apply green milk copper at 600–800 times or 1:3:200 Bordeaux mixture. Mix 800 times of Jia Tuo with life or amino acid (humic acid) micro-fertilizer. Use 30% Depronone at 1,500 times. Plastic-bagged apples should not be removed; only carbendazim with gangomycin is effective for rot, and diflubenzuron is specific for P. pica. After Harvest to Leaf Fall: Prevent overwintering pests and disease sources. Spray 40% annihilating at 1,500 times to control cottonseed meal. Clear the orchard after leaves fall and spray the entire tree at 100 times dilution.
