The main innovations of the project include: inventing a new technology of reactive extrusion grafting and in-situ compounding, chemically bonding the anti-irradiation agent to the polymer chain, and solving the anti-irradiation agent quenching active free radicals, and its bonds Incorporating into the macromolecular chain, the contradiction of active free radicals is required, and the modified α-olefin copolymer and styrene copolymer material resistant to radiation aging are prepared. The reaction assembly and the coupling reaction between different functional groups are invented. The technology, by controlling the reaction between functional groups on the macromolecular chain, regulating the interfacial interaction between the polymer components and the morphological structure of the system, and preparing anti-hemolysis, anti-coagulation and anti-protein adsorption, strength, elasticity, hardness and transparency, etc. Modified α-olefin copolymer and styrene copolymer material with excellent performance; invented new molding and tooling technology, and developed the materials used to produce a series of medical consumables that can be irradiated and sterilized without plasticizer.
According to reports, the new consumables developed by the project can be sterilized by irradiation, thus eliminating many problems of ethylene oxide sterilization; no anti-irradiation agent precipitation, excellent durability against radiation aging, and superior performance. The same kind of radiation sterilized products in foreign countries; avoiding the potential harm of polyvinyl chloride products into the body due to plasticizers, causing damage to reproductive, nerve and kidney, as well as damage or adsorption of drugs such as paclitaxel, thus ensuring therapeutic effect .
