1, calcium supplement time
Egg-laying hens lay more eggs in the morning. After 14:00 in the afternoon, as the egg shell deposition rate increases, the amount of calcium consumed by the chicken also increases. Therefore, in order for egg-laying chickens to produce more eggs and produce better eggs, it is best to supplement calcium feedstuffs every day from 12:00 to 18:00.
2, the amount of calcium
Egg production requires calcium supplementation, but it is not as good as it is. In general, each laying hen needs calcium 4.4g, and the calcium content in the diet can reach 3.0%-3.5% to meet the production needs of the hens. 3, the choice of calcium source feed
The choice of calcium feed is best for marine coarse shell powder. The coarse shell powder is crushed by large shells into particles of 8 to 12 mesh size, free of fine sand, and the calcium content is generally 35% to 37%. It is a high-quality calcium feed for laying hens.
4, feeding methods and effects

Experiments have shown that laying chickens fed calcium source feed can significantly increase egg production, egg fertilization rate, hatching rate, serum calcium content, and eggshell thickness.
