The water requirement for sweet sorghum seedlings accounts for about 10% of the total water requirement during the whole growth period, 50% for the jointing and booting stage, 15% for the booting to flowering period, 20% for the filling period, and 5% for the mature period. At the appropriate time, the flowering period and the filling period are timely and appropriate irrigation.
4, rational fertilization
When planting sweet sorghum, it is necessary to combine the ground preparation with the base fertilizer, apply 35% special compound fertilizer 30-35 kg/mu, and apply organic fertilizer 1500-2000 kg.
After emergence, the seedling fertilizer is applied, and the joint fertilizer is 1000 kg/mu + urea 10-15 kg/mu.
At the booting stage, the fertilizer is 1000 kg/mu and the urea is 20 kg/mu.
