Abstract: Impact resistance is an important factor affecting the durability and longevity of green packaging bags. In this paper, the impact resistance of the easily degradable tote bag was evaluated by testing the dart impact quality, and the test principle, equipment parameters, scope of application, and test procedure were introduced to provide reference for the monitoring of the impact resistance of green packaging bags.

1 , meaning

3 , the test basis

This article is based on the relevant provisions of the product standard GB/T 21661-2008 "Plastic Shopping Bag" on the dart impact test, according to the current standard GB/T 9639.1-2008 "plastic film and sheet impact resistance test method free dart method first Part: The Staging Method tests the sample.

4 , test equipment

In this paper , the sample is tested by BMC-B1 Dart Impact Tester. The equipment is independently developed and produced by Jinan Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd.

4.1 Test principle

The conventional test principle of the free dart method is that, at the beginning of the test, the dart and the weight Δm value of the appropriate initial mass are selected according to the thickness and material of the sample . During the test, the darts freely drop the impact sample. If the sample is damaged, the weight of the dart is reduced by Δm by reducing the weight . If the sample is not damaged, the weight of the dart is increased by Δm by increasing the weight , and then the mass is changed. The darts impact the sample again, and increase or decrease the quality of the darts according to the test results, and so on, and repeat the test. In summary, using a weight to increase or decrease the quality of the dart depends on whether the previous sample was damaged. When the test of 20 samples is completed , the number N of the damaged samples is calculated . If N is equal to 10 , the test is completed; if N is less than 10 , the sample is continuously replenished until N is equal to 10 ; if N is greater than 10 , It is still necessary to continue to replenish the sample test so that the number of unbroken samples is 10 . The device then automatically calculates and displays the impact damage quality of the specimen according to the calculation formula in the standard.

However, the standard according to the basis of this article has specified the drop weight of the impact material. It is only necessary to use the drop hammer impact test to check whether the sample is damaged or not. The impact resistance of the material is judged according to the number of damaged samples.

4.2 Scope of application

Suitable for impact resistance test of plastic film, sheet and composite film with thickness less than 1 mm , such as PE cling film, wrapping film, PET sheet, food packaging bag of various structures, aluminum foil, aluminum-plastic composite film, etc.; Impact test of paper and paperboard; scalable ball drop impact test and shoulder lining impact test; conform to many national and international standards, such as GB/T 9639.1 , ASTM D1709 , JIS K7124 , ISO 7765, etc.

4.3 Equipment parameters

5 , the test process

Repeat the clamp - mounting darts - test operation until all 10 samples have been tested and count the number of unbroken samples.

6 , test results

The number of unbroken samples in this test was 9 and met the technical requirements of dart impact in GB/T 21661 .
