In other words, females entering the sexually mature stage have mature follicles in their ovaries, but they are not discharged like other animals (such as cows, sheep, pigs, horses, etc.) but need to pass through male rabbits. Mating stimulation can ovulate. Therefore, other animals engaged in artificial insemination, as long as you can grasp the estrus cycle or ovulation time, but the rabbit in the insemination, must be induced ovulation. In the past, male rabbits were commonly used for stimulating the vas deferens. In recent years, with the development of science and technology, more use of ovulation hormone injection. At present, most rabbit farms in China use domestically produced ovulation hormones, namely luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone A3, also known as ovulation-promoting No. 3.
Regarding the dosage of ovulation ovulation No. 3, the dosages used in production are different, and there is a wide gap in the literature coverage. For example, it has been reported that generally 25 micrograms of hormones are given to 20-25 female rabbits at a time. Since this is a kind of polypeptide hormone, the use of a small amount will not work, and if the amount is too large, it will produce antibodies, which will seriously affect the future use results. In the course of the experiment, the research group found that the amount of hormones had a certain influence on the conception rate and the number of litters, and the effect of excessive hormone consumption was not satisfactory. For this purpose, the amount of hormones for excretory hormone administration during artificial insemination of female rabbits was studied. The research group used a three-year period to carry out tests. Each injection of female rabbits of different parity was injected at a dose of 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 μg, respectively. In other words, a 25-microgram hormone can be used once for 100 (0.25 micrograms each), 50 (0.5 micrograms each) and 33 (0.75 micrograms) females. After several trials, the best dosage for medium-sized rabbits (represented by rabbits) was determined.
The results of the study showed that the dose of progesterone injection 3 affected the conception rate and the number of litters. Each female received 0.25 and 0.5 micrograms per injection. The fertility rates were 77.84% and 78.86%, respectively; the difference was not significant; There were no significant differences between 6.31 and 6.19, and the birth weight was 351 grams and 342 grams. The difference was not significant. In the 0.75-microgram group, the conception rate, litter size, and litter weight were all lower than in the low-dose group. By analyzing the indexes of conception rate and farrowing rate of female rabbits in different parity times, it was found that female rabbits were first mated (first-born), and low-dose injection was significantly better than high-dose group. Therefore, it is recommended that the production of medium-sized rabbits (such as Rex rabbits) from the first to the third child, the injection of ovulation No. 3 0.25 micrograms is appropriate, the dose of 4-6 injections is controlled within the range of 0.25-0.5 micrograms, 7 embryos after the injection of ovulation induction No. 3 0.5-0.75 micrograms is appropriate.
