In January-February, the total import and export of aquatic products in Shandong Province was 258,000 tons, with a total value of 910 million US dollars. The total amount decreased by 19.8%, and the total value increased by 9.5%. Of which: exports of aquatic products 163,000 tons, foreign exchange earned 640 million US dollars, an increase of 13.2% and 14.9%. Affected by the Spring Festival in February, exports decreased, with a monthly export of 130 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 39.3%.

From the four major export markets, the volume of exports to Japan, South Korea, the United States, and the European Union all decreased, and the amount of foreign exchange earned increased. Among them, the export to Japan was 39,700 tons, and the foreign exchange generated was US$210 million, an increase of 0.7% and 10.2%; The United States exported 19,000 tons, earned foreign exchange of USD 90.7 million, export volume decreased by 2.6%, and foreign exchange earnings increased by 18.5%; exports to the EU 35,000 tons, foreign exchange earned 130 million USD, export volume decreased by 4.7%; foreign exchange earnings increased by 2.1%; exports to South Korea 21,000 Tonnes, foreign exchange earning 65.17 million US dollars, exports fell by 9.1%, foreign exchange earnings increased by 3.5%.
