Typical chemical pump characteristics and selection requirements

In this paper, the feed pump ( including the raw material pump and the intermediate feed pump ) , the reflux pump (including the top, middle and bottom reflux pumps), the bottom pump, the circulation pump, the product pump, the injection pump, the sewage pump, the fuel pump, Lubricating oil pump and liquid sealing pump are taken as examples, and their characteristics and selection requirements are introduced.

 

The characteristics and selection requirements of specific typical chemical pumps are shown in Table 1 - 1 below .

1. General single-stage centrifugal pump. When the flow rate is large, double suction pump can be selected.

2. Use a low NPSH pump and use the necessary filling head

Circulating pump

1 , the flow is stable, the head is low

2 , a wide variety of media

1 , select a single-stage centrifugal pump

2 , according to the type and material of the pump selected by the medium

3 , the pump backup rate is 50%~100%

Product pump

1 , the flow is small

2 , the head is lower

3 , the pump inlet temperature is low (the top product is generally normal temperature, the middle extraction and the bottom product temperature is slightly higher)

4 , some products pump intermittent operation

1 , should choose a single-stage centrifugal pump

2 , for high purity or valuable products, the seal is required to be reliable, the pump spare rate is 100% ; for general products, the standby rate is 50%~100% . Product pumps for intermittent operation, generally not for equipment pumps

Injection pump

1 , the flow is very small, the measurement requirements are strict

2 , work at room temperature

3 , higher pressure

4 , the injection medium is a chemical, often corrosive

1 , use plunger or diaphragm metering pump

2 , for corrosive media, the pump's overcurrent components are usually made of corrosion-resistant materials

Sewage pump

1 , the flow is small, the head is lower

2 , there are often corrosive media and abrasive particles in the sewage

3 , control flow required for continuous delivery

1. Select sewage pump and slurry pump

2 , the pump backup rate is 100%

3 , often need to use corrosion-resistant materials

Fuel oil pump

1. The flow rate is small, and the pump outlet pressure is stable (generally 1.0~1.2MPa )

Lubricating oil pump and sealing pump

1. Lubricating oil pressure is generally 0.1~0.2Mpa

2 , mechanical seal sealing liquid pressure is generally higher than the sealing chamber pressure 0.05~0.15MPa

1 , generally with the host supporting supply

2 , generally screw pump and gear pump, but the centralized oil supply of centrifugal compressor often uses centrifugal pump
