New Technology for Flies Cultivation in Plastic Greenhouses

The use of caged nets for fly-fishing in ordinary houses is a commonly used technique in domestic flies farms that have emerged in recent years. This kind of technology requires heating facilities to be set up in the room. Otherwise, when the indoor temperatures in autumn, winter, and spring do not reach 27°C, the fly's fertility declines. When the room heating temperature is low, especially in the north, winter has to be adopted to keep flies and insects from invading the winter, resulting in fly breeding had to be interrupted, and economic efficiency fell significantly. Flies breeding in plastic greenhouses have successfully solved this problem. It can make the fly grow continuously throughout the year and raise the breeding efficiency several times. It has become a very promising technology. The flies have the following requirements in terms of temperature, humidity and light. The most suitable temperature for flies is 27°C to 30°C. At 8-12°C, the flies can move, but they can't mate, they can't stand on the food, they can only fall on the ceiling and the wall, they don't like to move, and they die at minus 5°C for 3 to 5 days. Fly larvae require higher temperatures than adults. The most suitable temperature for rapid development is 35°C. It stops at minus 1~2°C and dies at minus 5~6°C. When the temperature is too high 45~55°C, it increases faster than normal temperature. It is reduced by half. Fly larvae require food temperature 30 ~ 35 °C appropriate. In terms of humidity, adults require indoor humidity of 55% to 60%. When the humidity is too high, the fly's legs and body become wet and impede activities. The larvae require 65% to 70% humidity during the growth period. Flies like to move in bright places, the greater the brightness, the greater their activity. Artificial breeding of flies in the room should have light fixtures, light more than 10 hours a day.
Adopting plastic greenhouses to keep flies is very easy to meet these characteristics requirements of flies in the breeding process. The advantages are as follows:
1 The raising temperature is significantly improved without special heating facilities. The temperature in the spring, summer and autumn sheds is easily maintained at 27 to 30°C. The straw curtains at the sheds are rolled up and covered, and the temperature-increasing and cooling measures are simple and practical. No increase in feeding costs. Even in the cold winter, the temperature in the shed can reach an average of about 20°C.
2; The humidity is stable and easy to keep fly in ordinary houses. To maintain a certain humidity, it is necessary to continuously sprinkle water on the ground. In the plastic greenhouse, due to the tightness of the seal, on the ground that is not hardened with cement, no watering is required, no special Adjust humidity
3; The light is sufficient In the plastic greenhouse, the shed ceiling curtain is opened, and the sunlight filtered by the plastic film shines in the entire shed, and the illumination is kept simple and easy.
The greenhouse area can be determined according to the size of the breeding. There are two ways to raise flies in plastic greenhouses: one is to set up a three-dimensional gauze in the greenhouse, raise the fly in the net, and the other is to raise a small amount of grass straw and straw rope in the greenhouse. As each cage is a cage, this method is more investment than the previous method, covers an area of large, small breeding density in the greenhouse with a gauze culture method, the general structure is 20 meters long, 4 meters wide, low wall 2 m high, 3 m high wall and 3 m high plastic greenhouses, the gauze is provided with 3 layers of adult breeding cages: the size of the cage is 505,050 cm, and the gauze is of the same size, and one end of the gauze is on one side. In the center, a sleeve with a diameter of about 20 cm and a length of 33 cm can be used to pick up and release flies and change food feeders (7 to 9 cm in diameter) to contain sugar for feeding by flies, or to put a bubble of saturated water inside. Plastics, which provide water for adults, can also be used to attract 8,000 to 10,000 eggs per adult. Whether it is the newly collected adult fly or the adult fly after emergence, supply sugar and water in time to prevent hunger and death. Adult flies produce eggs 3 to 5 times, up to 10 times, each spawning 100 to 150 to 300.
Feeding methods for larvae First place the feedstuffs in a feeder box. The thickness should be no more than 4 cm. The fly eggs (day-old larvae) that will be trapped will then be slowly placed on the feed in the feeder box with a pest shovel. The larvae can be slowly dispersed and drilled into the feed. When the larvae eat the feed, they are generally top-down, such as humidity, high temperature in the box, insufficient feed, and excessive density of the larvae, causing the cubs to crawl outwards. Personnel should check at any time and take timely measures such as: adding materials or cooling, dehumidification and so on.
