DMPT--Usage (2-Carboxyethyl)dimethylsulfonium Chloride is the hydrochloride salt of Dimethylsulfoniopropionate (D479360), a metabolite produced primarily by marine phytoplankton and is the main precursor to the c limatically important gas dimethylsulfide (DMS).

1. Attractant: a, It is easily soluble in water, rapid spread through the water to stimulate nerves of the fisheries, it was found the strongest olfactory stimulant. b, Ethology studies have known that aquatic animals have chemical sensor of feeling (CH3)2S-perssad, and DMPT has this feature perssad.
